NSP Home Rental 3 Step Process

The purpose of the Neighborhood Stabilization Program is to provide relief for neighborhoods hard-hit by foreclosures, while providing affordable and quality housing to those who qualify.  Properties available for rent are targeted as affordable housing for seniors, veterans and special needs families.  This part of the program is being managed by our partner agency, Osceola Council on AgingThey are committed to work with renters to streamline the process, answer questions and provide assistance in the home selection process.  Following are the steps that must be taken to complete a successful rental agreement. 

STEP 1:   Review Eligibility.

The NSP rental program is designed to provide quality affordable housing to low income seniors, veterans and families with special needs.   Please review the guidelines on our Renter Eligibility page to determine if you qualify. Once you have determined that you qualify, please download and complete the NSP Renter Application.


STEP 2: Complete the Home Rental Application.

Once you have determined that you qualify, please download and complete the NSP Renter Application and Checklist.  This document includes complete instructions including a list of the verification documents you will need along with the completed application.

STEP 3:  Contact our Rental Program Partner.

Congratulations!  You have completed all of the steps necessary to rent an NSP Home and you are ready to go shopping for your new home.  This is a very exciting time.  As mentioned above this part of our program is managed by our partner agency, the Osceola Council on Aging.  Please contact them directly to answer any questions, submit your completed application, or to check on available properties.  Please contact them directly at:
